Ketosis, or the metabolic state of burning fat rather than carbohydrates, is becoming more and more popular. You may have heard of it as a diet that’s similar to Atkins, but the only resemblance is the lack of carbohydrates. However, there is more to the keto diet than that. One of the most common questions about the diet is whether there is a risk of bleeding when going into ketosis.
Recently a friend of mine was on a ketogenic diet and she was experiencing severe itching and redness of her skin. For some reason she started bleeding. As you all know, it is a bad idea to start a ketogenic diet without consulting a doctor. So I asked her if she had consulted with her doctor if it is safe to start a ketogenic diet without consulting a doctor. Here is the reply:
Keto or Ketoacidosis is a state in which there is a high level of ketone bodies in the blood. When a person is in a state of ketosis their body breaks down fat into ketones, which are then used in the production of energy. However, this can be a dangerous condition, seeing as ketones are acidic, and this can cause a problem for the body’s organs.
PixelNAUTS’ Rocket Rumble, an online space racing party game, will be released on Steam Early Access on August 3, 2024.
This game will come with three randomly generated tracks: a robot-filled factory, an asteroid field, and a Space Pirate stronghold, all of which will be available at launch. It’s worth noting that the team anticipates at least nine songs in the final release.
Players may select between Riku, Bert, Pepper, and Ophelia as characters, with more to come after launch. Disks, explosives, the Shockpack, and the Super-Sizer are among the weapons available.
This game will have online competitive single-screen racing for up to four players, character customization with hundreds of various cosmetics, and space warfare. The price will be $9.99.
